In this video, you will see a relieved, deeply in love, and happy Shawn Josiah as he starts by sharing that he already popped the question on one knee and got the answer that he was hoping for. Before he goes to the juicier part, he began with cheesier part of the trip where he proposed to his long-time significant other Carolyn. Sharing the entire experience where he admitted that he cried during the actual moment because, after all the struggles, long wait, and sacrifices, the moment that he was visualizing for a long time was finally unfolding to reality.
And then right after he shared the enchanting moment, Shawn directly goes down to business starting with an update of his travel income. He quickly shows the snapshot of his Clickbank account and pointed out that on the day of his proposal, he managed to make more than USD 400, then bagging another $500 the next day. Shawn also shared that on that exact time as he was making the video, he already earned a little less than $150, assuring that an increase will follow after putting time on it before he goes to bed.
Shawn's Update While in Santorini
Following his travel income update, Shawn went on to share that before he made the video, he was talking to a fellow affiliate via Skype. On that private session, he realized that the female affiliate doesn’t have a clue on what happens or how affiliate marketing works. According to Shawn, the affiliate marketer joined two different affiliate programs (email marketing), and until now she doesn’t know what is happening.
From that situation he shared, Shawn immediately highlights a few typical problems with affiliate marketers out there who tried and eventually failed. First, they don’t have any idea on how much should be invested in traffic, then they don’t know when to stop investing in it. The next one is that most failed affiliate marketers don’t know how to sustain their list without traffic. Most of them also don’t know how to find the right products which are usually referred to as “winning products”. And finally, they don’t have any clues on how to reach out and communicate with subscribers or potential buyers. In short, a lot of failed affiliates were lost and failed to get on the right track.
On that note, Shawn emphasized that the importance or significance of having a mentor or a guide that has been through all of that struggles and emerged victoriously. A mentor that will show you and guide you through every step you take towards success, a guide that will take you to the promised land of affiliate marketing.
Shawn gave a fair warning that this business is tough, especially if you are to take it on all by yourself. He also shared that he struggled a lot when he was starting in this industry and he admitted that back then, he was also a failing affiliate marketer. Fortunately for him, he wasn’t alone and he learned the tough lessons way before he dug himself a whole. Got himself up and slowly but surely stood his ground.

As a result, they invest a lot of money on a program, traffic, and other resources like autoresponders, hosting, etc. just to give up without realizing the returns. This because they get frustrated and assume that all their efforts are not working, in other words, they are not mentally strong enough to persevere to the fruits of their labor.
