Now, let’s proceed to my update and show you what happened over August. I am very excited to tell you that August was a great month. It’s because I managed to make a good amount of income and aside from that, there were plenty of new products coming out. This is excellent news because as an affiliate, new products coming out mean more potential to earn commissions. That’s what happened during August, as for my update, let me just share the snapshots of my Clickbank account.
Looking at the snapshots of my daily and weekly sales, you will notice that I’ve hit a milestone, which is getting past the $3,000 mark. My sales records show that the total amount of sales in Clickbank commissions is more than $12,500, pretty cool right? And I am proud to tell you that I made that kind of money just by sending simple emails, promoting other people’s products, and get paid through commissions.

If you create a product to be sold, it will require you to invest a lot of money, effort, and to have a lot of patience. Try to imagine the stress that it will cause you, handling everything from spending money, managing the whole process, outsourcing, and even funding the marketing. That’s what affiliates do, we leverage the fact that vendors need people like us to market their products. As an affiliate, you won’t have to go through that hard because you can make money by promoting these products and get paid in commission on every sale you make. That’s the real beauty of affiliate marketing.
Email Profit Academy is a mentoring program designed to guide new affiliates in the world of affiliate marketing. It uses a system I formulated to maximize the potential earnings or income an affiliate marketer can make. In the affiliate marketing industry, there are three various ways of generating income. First is by promoting Clickbank products to earn commissions, second is by selling private affiliate programs, and lastly by sales of traffic or what is called solo ads.
Affiliate marketing is a tough industry to be in, when I was just starting on this business, I was also failing affiliate once. But with the right mindset, I was able to persevere and slowly learn. Thankfully, I didn’t quit and kept on until I made a significant breakthrough. On that note, I want to establish a strong point that having the right mindset is one of the essential keys an affiliate should have to succeed in this business. If you are planning to do affiliate or email marketing and you want to do it just to try to make money, I’ll immediately stop you right there.
Going into this business just to try is not the right mindset, trying is losing which means it is a losing mindset that will drag you down even before you start. Keep in mind that in any kind of business, you have to understand what it takes to succeed and have a mindset that you will make it work. Going in and making it work is a winning attitude, translating into a mindset that will carry you through, no matter what. It brings out your competitiveness and fuels your desire to succeed. That’s a mindset that will enable you to endure and persevere.
I also want to add that a losing mentality or a way of thinking that focuses on trying may affect how a person looks at things. And since, even before you start something, your already thinking that you are just trying, it drains the motivation out of you. That alone will not give you a chance to prosper. Let me tell you again that if you want to be a successful affiliate, start with the right mindset and winning attitude. This is very important guys because this will carry on as you go along the way.
The second insight that I want to share with you is having a mentor that personally understands the struggles or hardships, and the “ins and outs” of affiliate marketing is crucial to success. In my entire online career, I noticed that most affiliates that failed got lost along the way. Most of them don’t have the right sense of direction and don’t know where to go. They failed to find the right path to success because most of them don’t have a firm understanding of what is affiliate marketing and how does it work.
Those failed affiliates don’t have the mentor that should have told them where to go or what to do, leaving them clueless in a world that they don’t know. What I mean is that most of the affiliates that failed don’t have any idea how much money they need to invest. They also don’t know that in this business they will be investing in “traffic” without understanding how it works. This eventually led to frustrations and disappointments dragging them down leading them to their demise.
Again, as I always tell my new mentoring students, email or affiliate marketing is a fierce and competitive industry. It is a tough and perplexing business that can be formidable to deal with, especially alone and with limited knowledge. And not having a mentor that already knows and understands the hardships to overcome, finding the path to success will be almost impossible.
Let me end this with a better perspective by looking at the bright side of things. You don’t have to lose hope because I just shared with you my insights and it highlighted the common issues that may lead affiliates to failure. You can use the insights that I shared and use it as a reference that will allow you to adjust and set your course to the right path. That way, when you are going to dive into this business, you already know the first steps to success.
So, to sum everything up. August was a great month for me because I managed to make a good amount of money and hit a milestone of hitting $10,000 in commissions in one month. It was also a month where a lot of new products were released increasing the potential to earn. With regards to my insights on affiliate marketing. It can be a very tough business, but if you want to be successful, you don’t have to discourage. Because as long as you have the right mindset, you understand how it works, you know how traffic works and you have a mentor that will teach you the “ins and outs” of the business.
