Let me begin by asking you, how was the month of January has been? Have you started your new year’s resolutions? How’s your email marketing efforts? I’m interested to know how’s your email marketing campaign, I want to know if your journey is starting to pay off and if you are on your way to reach financial freedom. Today, I’ll be taking this opportunity to give you an update on my journey and to show you what has been happening on my campaign in January.
To me, the first month of the year is great! I just achieved another milestone on my journey and I’ll share it with you along the way. Later on, after giving you the update on my journey to six-figure, I will also share two essential tips, or shall I say hacks that allow me to maximize my sales from email marketing. So, you might want to stick around, cause you don’t want to miss them.
Let’s begin with the update on my journey and let me show you the snapshots of my Clickbank account. If you will take a closer look at the daily and weekly sales snapshots, you will see that my sales in January are very consistent. Over the past five weeks of January, I was making over $3k USD a week, and then on its last week, it went up to more than $5k USD. This makes the total commissions I made over the month to almost $18k USD, allowing me to hit a milestone of making $15k USD in commissions in a month.
Let’s begin with the update on my journey and let me show you the snapshots of my Clickbank account. If you will take a closer look at the daily and weekly sales snapshots, you will see that my sales in January are very consistent. What I love about Clickbank is that gives you a clear picture of what exactly happened to your campaign. The account snapshots that they show is entailed with the accurate amount of sales that you made daily. As you can see on my snapshots, it clearly shows how much commission I made on every single day of January. Since they are sales, you can see the fluctuations, in some days the sales are high and in some days it can below. On that note, I want to emphasize that no matter what amount you made for a day, it’s the money that you made. Think about it, it’s better to make a small amount of money a day than nothing right?
Clickbank Sales Snapshot
By looking at my Clickbank snapshots, I want to point out that consistency is the key that will allow you to generate a good amount of income monthly. On my daily snapshots, you will see that I consistently earn commissions, regardless of the amounts I earned. At the end of the month, all those commissions, high or low will sum up for a pretty good amount. This basically means that consistently earning commissions daily is your primary target, when it comes to affiliate marketing. It is way better if you are hitting a daily target because it will lead to larger monthly sales.
Now, a lot of people ask me, how do you set your goals or targets? I tell them that I like to keep it simple. I am aiming for the $3k USD in commissions a week, I want to make at least three thousand bucks a week. Breaking it down further, it basically means that I need to make $500 a day in Clickbank commissions, totaling $3,500 in a full week. Maybe you are wondering why I aim to make $3k a week, but going for $500 a day summing to $3,500 in seven days. This is to give me an allowance to work with if I fail to hit what I am going for daily. In this case, if I fell short of the daily income I make, my total weekly commissions will still land on my $3k goal. It is an idea that balances the over the yield of one week, to make my overall weekly goal realistic and attainable.
That’s about it for the daily and weekly sales snapshots. Now I want to share with you another great feature of Clickbank that I like. Let’s see the Paycheck tab of my Clickbank account. Once you become an affiliate of Clickbank, you will have an option to set how do you want to get paid. You can choose to get paid on a monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly basis, it will be all up to you. By taking a look at my Clickbank paychecks, you will see that in 2017, I made over $92,000 USD in commissions. This 2018, my current earnings in commissions this January is more than $11,000 USD and it is still counting since the latest record here is January 17, 2018. That means, it will still go up once the records are updated.
What I love about this is that apart from I am making a good amount of money every week is the fact that I am doing it just by sending simple emails. A very simple task that anyone can do from anywhere in the world. This is what I refer to as “location freedom”, making money from any part of the world, rather than the usual daily grind. Unlike running the rat race and working from 9 AM to 6 PM, limiting you to live life on Saturdays and Sundays. Let me tell you something, that shouldn’t be the way to live life, you deserve so much more. That’s why I am willing to share my life’s work with you.
Numerologist Contest Result
So, that’s all about it for my Clickbank update for the month of January. Now I want to share the second interesting that took place this month is the launch of Numerologist. I would like this opportunity to say thanks to my partners, Jake and Blair for a great job hosting this launch. I got to say, this is one of the most unique launches that I’ve participated in. If you haven’t checked out Numerologist yet, you have to check it out because they got the best numerologist product out there today.

From the launch of Numerologist alone, I managed to generate pretty good sales. If you are a fan of numerology, the belief in the existence of a mythical relationship between numbers and events, I recommend that you check the products they have to offer. Their numerology products are legitimate and of world-class quality. However, I’m here to talk about being an affiliate and I want to show you what’s happening in the back.
In the dashboard, you will see that I managed to send more than 22,000 clicks for the contest and as an affiliate, the clicks I sent generated a commission totaling $5,289.66 USD. A good amount of money I earned from sending clicks to this contest alone. On the summary of my account, it shows all the details including the leads that I sent, clicks, etc. Let’s take a look at the leaderboard, it clearly shows that I managed to keep my top 10 spot on probably one of the biggest launches under the personal development matrix. That concludes my update regarding my journey to six-figures using the email system that formulated, which I wanted to share with you through Email Profit Academy.

As promised earlier, I will now be sharing the two tweaks, or let’s just call them tips that will help you maximize sales as an affiliate. These tips are basically to monetize a lucrative mailing list, in other words, turning subscribers to buyers that lead to sales. Before sharing the tips, you have to keep in mind that they are based on one fundamental aspect, which is to add value to your list. This means that you have to send your subscribers valuable content. Think about the things that your subscribers will appreciate, what they need and how it will help them. That’s because things like that appeal to them motivate them to opt into your list. So, make sure to keep that in mind and be sure that we are on the same page about this.
For the first tip, as an affiliate marketer striving to monetize a mailing list. You have to know and understand your list, you have to recognize what your subscribers want and need. Now, for you to figure it out, it will require you to do several testing. You have to test various products, micro-niches, and observe the response of your list. The tests will give you an idea of what your list wants, allowing you to understand it better as a whole. You may ask, how exactly you can do something like that.
That actually traces back to whatever you have as a bribe on your article or content. Let’s say you are giving away a free Ebook about making money from home. From there, you will have to dig in deeper by breaking it down into sub-niches. This will give you a variety of subcategories to focus on, and there you will have several options that you can test that are all related to the original subject of the freebie. You can try to use some of them and test them on your list and based on their responses, you will see how the majority of your list reacts.
I know that you might be thinking that doing that won’t be easy, that is why I suggest that you have to go for the smaller niches. Focus on one niche that you can cover almost everything about it on one single article bribe. The bottom line is that through the article bribe, you can do several tests just to see how your audience reacts. And then from there, you will have an idea of what your subscribers want and understand your mailing list. That’s my first tip for you.
Now for the second tip which is I use most of the time. Let’s go back to my Clickbank account, cause I want to actually show it to you. Basing on this snapshot, you will actually notice that majority of my sales comes from promoting only four products. You probably think that the more products you promote the more sales you will get. That’s absolutely not true. Why? That’s because by knowing your list, the product list that you have will be narrowed down. I’ll give you an example for you to see my point.
Let’s say you already figured out what your list wants. You’ll have an idea of what products you will promote and from there, you will have to pick the top 4. What I do is I promote one of the 4 products in 2 weeks. Enticing them to such product because I know they are interested. And then the remaining three products, which I refer to as my “golden products” will be promoted later. Once the first 2 weeks of promoting the first one, I will then promote the remaining three.
This is because as time goes and days past, the traffic coming in will grow and increase. This refreshes their minds that they want products like these, keeping them reminded about their desires. That way when the remaining products are promoted to them, their urge to make a purchase will be stronger than before. But if you promote all the 4 products at the same time, the chance of them being flustered is very high. Once they list these affiliate products the urge for them to buy will wither. So, by promoting the 4 products the way I started, you will have a better chance to keep the urge them burning.
Once all of the top 4 products are promoted, you can now go on to look for other products that you can promote. That is why promoting plenty of products is not advisable because once they are flustered there won’t be any similar products for you to promote. Basically, you have to pick the top 4 products, promote them in an orderly manner, and stick with them. Use them as your stepping stone to having the right frequency of promotion that will eventually lead to consistency.
To wrap everything up, the fundamental aspect that you have to keep in mind as an affiliate marketer is to add value to your list. Give them relevant and valuable content that will appreciate leading to the two tips I shared. First is to know and understand your list to enable yourself to give them valuable content and give you an idea of what your list wants. And then look for the top 4 products and promote them one by one to consistently keep your list interested in the products you are promoting.
