Hi everyone, Shawn Josiah here, founder of Email Profit Academy. Once again I’m going to give you an update on my travel income or the money that I make while traveling. I am currently at the Americana in Los Angeles, sitting at the Cheesecake factory with my lovely partner and significant other. Earlier, we checked out the Hollywood Walk of Fame, doing the typical tourist stuff. It’s a nice place, but before I go to my update. Let me first share with you that this lucrative email marketing business I have now actually started as a side-hustle, generating extra income along with my job.
So, let me show you my screen to share with you the snapshots of my Clickbank account and my detailed sales record. I want to highlight the 16th of July because I had a really good run on that day, it was when I managed to hit my all-time high in sales, amounting to $664. You will also notice on my daily sales record, July 12 is the day when sales got a little slower, earning just $56. It was the only day of the month when I felt short to make a hundred bucks a day. It got me a little concerned because I was afraid I may not hit the $2000 a week, but thankfully I came through.

I believe that getting a job is the stepping stone that you need to build a business like this. Having a job is the first step you have to take before you can invest in something because it is the only way that you can raise funds that you can use as your capital. Besides, investing requires capital and I consider it as the first step in financing or building a business.
That is why I encourage people planning to start an online business to stay in the job, endure its daily grind, and set aside 20% of the income. This is how you can slowly but surely build your online business. Keep in mind that what determines success is not the nine to five grind of your job, because that eight-hour work belongs to your boss. What will determine your success is the six to twelve free time that you have. What this means is what you do during those hours will play a crucial part in your journey. Whether you invest your time in building your online business or spend time with friends and doing other things, it will have a huge impact in the end.
In my perspective, it's the free time that you have that matters, the six to twelve after the nine to five job is the key to your success. If you want to gradually build a side hustle to make extra money. Save some of your income from your job, use it as your capital, and put in some time from your six to twelve free time. This is where you will start to slowly build a side business online. Once that extra income you earn grows, keep going until it generates enough money, you can decide whether to quit your job or keep ongoing. That’s how I see things should be.
As for my update, I want to share with you guys an amazing breakthrough while I was traveling today and visiting the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Let me show you my screen to have a look at my Clickbank account. Here’s the weekly sales snapshot that made from my email marketing business, but I want you to focus on the daily sales snapshot. I want to highlight the June 24 entry, because that’s today. As you can see that I managed to make a little more than $380 in commissions. What I did was just to send emails last night and what happened is that some of those emails I sent convince my subscribers to make a purchase. Allowing me to earn commissions from the seller.

Another thing that happened several hours ago, I received an email from Paypal, informing me that Statbrook Associates LLC paid me 1,000 Singaporean Dollars. It’s around $750 US. This is a payment from one of the products that I promoted by simply sending out emails. All of that happened while I was on the move, traveling. The point that I want to emphasize here is that it is very much possible to build a side-hustle or business that can generate income that will enable you to leave your job and enjoy financial freedom.

It’s only a matter of being determined to push through and your willingness to invest money, time, and effort to make it happen. Look at me, I am living proof of it and as I said before, I built this six-figure, side-business of mine while having a job and studying in a university at the same time. If I successfully did it, I’m sure that you also can.
So, before I end this video, I want to leave with the three fundamental aspects you need in this email marketing business. The first element is the ethical bribe, it usually comes as a free ebook or mp3 which will be given in exchange for their emails. The next fundamental aspect or element is building or growing the mailing list. Once your list grows, it will be your most reliable asset because the subscribers on your list will eventually become your faithful customers. Finally, the last aspect is to send them valuable content with promotional products that they need or want.
Once your emails convince them to make purchases, that’s where you will make your money by earning commissions. If all of these three aspects are done correctly, you will surely generate a lot of extra income. The more converted sales you get, the more the commissions you will earn, which will lead you to financial freedom. So, that’s it for me.
