DON’T BUY These Things On Black Friday! Here’s Why.

DON’T BUY These Things On Black Friday! Here’s Why.

Millions of people around the world are preparing for Black Friday deals be it online or in store. Undeniably, the deals this year are going to be even bigger and more surprising, perhaps because of the pandemic which changed the way consumers shop. Stores and brands are giving even better discounts than before with their pre-Black Friday deals online (if you’re fast enough).

However, there are certain products that you should NOT BUY on Black Friday, no matter how attractive and enticing their ads and discounts are!

Unrecognized TV Brands

Don’t be enticed with that major price slash offer from an off-brand of TV. It’s highly possible that in a few months’ time, it will break down or you’d encounter issues that are not worth it no matter how cheap the price is. You’ll just spend more buying a new TV when your cheap Black Friday TV dies in less than a year.

If you want to get a great deal on a branded TV, wait until around the Super Bowl in February to buy a nicer model that is on sale. It makes more sense in the long run to spend a bit more upfront on something that will last longer than an item you'll have to replace within 12 months.

Toys

There are better offers for toys in December. Two weeks before Christmas, retailers will reduce the prices of toys even further.

Sofa

Although you can find small furniture sales on Black Friday, if you're patient enough to wait, Presidents' Day sales and early spring markdowns have much better deals.

Christmas Decorations

The best time to buy holiday decorations is after the holidays because stores need to clear up their aisles for their January merchandise. However, if your house is still devoid of any Christmas decors for the coming holidays, you can always get cheaper ones in dollar stores. Divert your Black Friday energy on other real deals.

Cameras

Although Black Friday is a great day to buy a camera, Cyber Monday could be an even better time to snag a deal. However, if you don't find what you're looking for on sale then, keep in mind that December and January are also popular times for post-holiday sales which could offer some incredible deals.

Beddings, Linens, Comforters

You can get the best deals for these in January. A White Sale is a time when retailers lower their prices on products such as sheets, comforters, towels, and more in order to attract customers and get rid of inventory for new merchandise.

Fitness Equipment

Retailers release their fitness offers after the holidays when people are looking to get back in shape.

Jewelry

Contrary to popular belief, you're not likely to snag the best deals on jewelry during the holiday season. In fact, research from the International Diamond Exchange shows that only 33 percent of all jewelry purchases are made in November and December - that’s because stores won’t offer the best deals and discounts.

Final Thoughts

Avoid these stuff and eliminate them now from your list or you’ll just spend more (or get the lowest quality for a small and negligible discount).
